National Shrine of St. John Neumann Also Vandalized; How You Can Help
The same vandal who allegedly broke windows at Mother Bethel AME Church on February 19 also struck the National Shrine of St. John Neumann at 1019 N. 5th Street (at Girard Avenue) on the same morning, damaging three stained glass windows.
Estimated repair costs are $20,000. Please consider donating to support the necessary repairs.
February Advocacy Update: Dixie Hummingbirds’ Headquarters Designated
At the February Historical Commission meeting, the Preservation Alliance’s nomination for the Dixie Hummingbird Headquarters at 2435 North College Avenue was unanimously voted to be added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places.
