The Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance are hosting a series of workshops, Your First Preservation Abilities, geared towards new and prospective homebuyers of older properties.

If you live in the Philadelphia area and are looking to buy your first home (or recently have), chances are you’re buying a home with history! With much of the housing stock over 100 years old, buying an old house comes with unique challenges and considerations to ensure both comfort and continued longevity of the building.

Join a panel with expertise in real estate, restoration, architecture and home inspections to hear about their experiences and get your questions answered.

This event will take place on Thursday, January 30th from 7pm to 8:15pm on Zoom.

This panel discussion will feature tips and tricks for buying, maintaining, and restoring older homes with sensitivity, practicality, and an eye for preservation.
