In Dr. Benjamin Rush’s day, being an effective physican meant knowing the medicinal properties of plants and how to prepare them. Learn about Rush’s role as a leading physician in early America, then learn how to grow and prepare medicinal plans he may have used.

Presenters include Sara Ray, Senior Director of Interpretation and Engagement, Mütter Museum, College of Physicians at Philadelphia, and Chester County herbalist Alyssa Schimmel.
